EDUCATION

WESTSIDE

Westside School District is located in an agricultural region of Western Johnson County. Under Superintendent Vicki Hall and a staff support of over 80, students are introduced to programs based on agriculture in addition to a strong core curriculum where hands-on activities are encouraged. Students at Westside Elementary begin each day with "Rise & Shine" assemblies to boost the student's self-esteem and the Accelerated Reading Program.
