Dedication
On
Thursday, June 19, 2003,
several Tri Peaks Board
members were in
attendance for the
official opening of the
new Lake Dardanelle

Education Center.
Mingling with Governor
Mike Huckabee, Senator
Sharon Trusty, State
Parks Director Greg
Butts and other state
officials, were Vicki
Lyons, Betty LaGrone,
Lou Vitale, Wally
Scherry, Jim Ray
Holbrook, David Flugrad,
Beebe Huett and Patty
Styles. Other Tri Peaks
meeting regulars Angela
Bonds, Andy Thomas, John
Brown, Shannon Sheppard,
and Mike Dandurand were
working the crowd or
just plain working hard
to make the day a
success.
Andy
Thomas introduced the
dignitaries and Governor
Huckabee spoke to a
crowd of over 300 people
(below) before the
Ribbon Cutting.
Russellville A & P
sponsored the Watta
Burger catered meal. It
was a great day for
Russellville, State

Region. Tri Peaks will
begin holding their
regular monthly board
meetings at the facility
beginning in July.

Dale Carnegie Course®
"The Winning Strategy Is Coming To Clarksville!"
Clarksville, Arkansas - The
Clarksville-Johnson County Chamber of Commerce announced
this week that the Dale Carnegie Course® is coming to
Clarksville. With nearly a century of proven success, the
Dale Carnegie Course® is highly recommended for anyone
who wants to improve his or her self-confidence,
communication and leadership skills. It is also excellent
for people who seek to control stress and anxiety. The class
is being co-sponsored by the Clarksville-Johnson County
Chamber of Commerce Workforce Training Committee and Jerry
Wilson & Associates, LLC, the license-holder for Dale
Carnegie Training in Arkansas.
"To succeed today, you must
begin partnering with employees in a process of continuous
improvement that creates change by choice. It's the people
that determine the success of any company," said Daren
Howard, Sales Manager for Jerry Wilson & Associates,
LLC, the license holder for Dale Carnegie Training in
Arkansas.
The Dale Carnegie
Course® is designed to maximize the growth of
organizations and focuses on modifying human behavior. The
concrete principles of success that are taught enable people
to take an active role in the forward movement of their
organization.
"The course changes that way
teams work as well as how they think - - - about themselves
and others, " said Howard. "By building on the strengths
people already possess, you see improved self-confidence,
accountability, leadership, and cooperation generated
through teamwork."
As the international leader
in business skills development, Dale Carnegie Training
offers programs to more than 4 million people in 70
countries. The courses are accredited by the Accrediting
Council for Continuing Education and Training. College
transfer credits are also available.
For more information about
Dale Carnegie Training or the class currently forming,
please contact Vicki Lyons at 479-754-2340.
