State
Launches Big Hot Deals
Promotion for
June
Add
yours to Arkansas.com
now!
If
you haven't put an offer
on the Hot Deals and
Vacation Packages page
of the state website,
NOW is the time to do
it. The Arkansas
Department of Parks and
Tourism is launching a
three-week, $600,000
media promotion aimed at
boosting the industry's
summertime sales. A
30-second television
spot will direct viewers
to arkansashotdeals.com,
where they can take
advantage of great
vacation deals at a
destination that is very
close-by. The spot is
tentatively scheduled to
air in Dallas, Tulsa,
Memphis and Shreveport,
prime markets for the
Arkansas tourism
industry.
The
campaign will run
heavily, but only for a
limited time-- from June
6 through June 29. If
you wait until the last
minute, you'll miss out
on getting your product
in front of millions of
potential customers. If
you currently have an
offer on the state's
"Hot Deals and Vacation
Packages" web page and
would like to alter it
or add to it, you
probably already know
the procedure. If you
don't have an offer or
need a reminder of how
to edit your offer, just
call or e-mail Kerry
Kraus (501.682.1925 -
kerry.kraus@mail.state.ar.us)
or Sarah Harper
(501.682.7602 -

Department.
