The holiday season is over but the Chamber would like to take a moment to thank all of the wonderful volunteers for the time spent in decorating and also to congratulate the winners of the Parade and the Lighting Contest.

Winners in the Annual Parade were: Non-Profit category - 1st place went to Johnson County Coroner, 2nd place was Girl Scout Troop 101, and 3rd place went to Ducks Unlimited. In the Business category 1st place went to Upton Monuments and 2nd place was individual Sherry Carter.

For the Lighting Display Hardwicke Funeral Home took 1st place in Outdoor Display and Brown's Flowers took 1st place for Window Display. In the Residential category: Adults Choice - 1st place was David Laster, 2nd place was Darby and Carrie Johnson, and Junior and Ruby Young took 3rd place honors. In the Children's Choice 1st place went to Kyle and Donna Helms, 2nd place was Sonny and Patricia Dobbs and Joanie Liles, Samantha and Jimee Christian took 3rd.

All of the businesses and homes were beautiful, we want to thank everyone who participated.



The Chamber would like to thank Leadership Johnson County classes for their help with coordinating the Lighting Ceremony, Parade and also helping Santa at the Court House after the Parade.

We also want to thank Clarksville Light and Water for their hard work in putting up the decorations , the spectators at the parade, and of course Santa for being the main attraction!

Come join us at the "Ribbon Cutting Ceremony " for Up Front and Center Dance & Tumbling on Saturday, January 7, 2006 @ 1:00 p.m.

ATTENTION MEMBERS

Thanks again for everyone's continued support; and we would like to extend a special thanks to members who purchased advertising to make the publication of the annual Directory possible. We are about to send in the final changes to the Directory for print, so if you have any address changes, etc., please get them to The Chamber.

The time has come for us to re-print our Clarksville-Johnson County road maps. Those of you who would like to get your name in for a space on the map, contact Wynette at the Chamber as soon as possible. Spaces will be handed out on a first come first serve basis. Thanks Again!
