Spadra
Creek Revitalization Update
The
Clarksville City Council has approved funding to
clean out Spadra Creek and install Newbury Riffles
(natural rock dams). This will create 2 small pools
and also allow for the passage of silt and cobble.
This will also increase the flow of water
elimination the additional deposit of sediment and
rocks. The estimated cost of this improvement will
be $93,500, which has been provided by a grant of
$7,000 from the Arkansas Stream Team and the
balance from the Community Development funds
derived from the $.01 sales tax. Your tax dollars
at work!!!!

OF THE OZARKS NEWS
"The
Guys"
The University of the Ozarks Theatre Department
will present a two-night performance of the play,
"The Guys," at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th and 9th,
in the Walton Fine Arts Center.
Tickets are $10.00 for general admission and $5.00
for senior citizens. $4.00 from each general
admission ticket and $1.00 from each senior citizen
ticket will go toward RFD #1.
