Children of the World celebrates the idea that people everywhere, of all ages and backgrounds, have the same basic needs, feelings and concerns. This universal message is presented by young people, who today have to face a more challenging reality than previous generations. The members of the group represent many countries of origin such as Morocco, Bosnia, Croatia, Egypt, France, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, England, Poland, India, China, Russia, Yemen, Korea, and others. They perform in their colorful international costumes, sending a message of hope and love around the world to all who are willing to listen. U of O Open House Univeristy of the Ozarks will hold its Fall Open House for prospective student and their parents on Saturday, November 4th. The event will include tours of the campus as well as information sessions on such areas as academics, student life, student support services, financial aid, and athletics at the University. Students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members, current students, coaches and financial aid officials during the day. Lunch will also be provided for the prospective students and their parents. Registration starts at 9 am, events begin at 9:20 am. The closing session will begin at 2 pm. Those who are interested in attending are encouraged to pre-register by calling the Admissions office at 479-979-1227. Leadership Johnson County 2006-2007- LITTLE ROCK In October our Leadership Class took a trip to Little Rock and toured the Capital with Secretary of State, Charlie Daniels, State Reps. George Overby, John Paul Wells, Senator Randy Laverty, and Chief of Staff for Secretary of State Daniels, Peggy Gram. Below are pictures of them during their Ropes Course.
