Name: 18th Annual Search Dog Training Weekend
    Date: May 18, 2017 - May 21, 2017
    Event Description:
The 18th Annual Search Dog Training Weekend will be held May 18-21, 2017 in Hagarville, AR. The weekend will be based at the Hagarville Community Center. Approximately 30 K-9 teams from around the country have registered for the training weekend. The weekend will consist of intense field work and classroom work each day. The majority of the handlers attending the weekend are from various search and rescue organizations and volunteer their time to their communities to assist with searches for missing individuals. The weekend is hosted by Arkansas Alliance of Bloodhound Search Specialists. Teams will be training in and around the Hagarville, Lamar, and Clarksville areas throughout the 4 days. Please feel free to stop and visit with the handlers and their K-9's -- however please ask prior to approaching any of K-9's as they may be in the middle of working an training exercise when you see them. The handlers attending will be happy to visit with anyone interested in more information about search dogs after they have completed their training scenario.
